VENETIA

In this new game of Marco Maggi and Francesco Nepittello, creators of The War of the Ring, players compete to be the most influential and prosperous family history of the Serenissima Republic of Venice. Since its peak in the ninth century until its fall in the eighteenth century, players are part of the golden age of which was known as Queen of the Mediterranean.

Each player controls a noble family and faces the other players seeking power and influence. To achieve this, they will send representatives to foreign markets and seek to influence distant ports and cities. At the same time, they try to take control of the disputed title of Dogo, the head of the city government.
