Patchwork (Spanish)

"So many scraps of cloth and leather patches lying around ... Time to make a nice quilt!"

In Patchwork, an abstract strategy game, two players compete to create the best quilt on their individual board. The available scraps are randomly arranged in a circle at the start of the game. In turn, players buy scraps from the available ones and move a number of boxes according to the complexity and value of the piece they have chosen. As they move across the board, they receive buttons and compete for the best pieces of cloth (and the valuable leather patches). The game ends when both players have reached the central square of the board, and will get points according to the space they have been able to fill with the remnants. The score could even be negative! The player who has achieved more points will be the winner.

Making a quilt requires a lot of time and effort, since the available scraps do not fit easily. The player who chooses best and sews his patches will be the winner. Choose your patches wisely, put them on your bedspread, accumulate a large reserve of buttons and do not leave too many holes ... or cost you the game.

Patchwork, a game by the famous author Uwe Rosenberg, is in the highest positions of the BGG and has been nominated for numerous prizes and entertainment awards, being the 2014 winner of the "Golden Geek" award for the best abstract table game, and finalist as "Game of the year 2016", among others.
