You are a Virus that has just infected a patient. As such, your goal is to mutate, survive, and try to expand into as many organs as you can. Choose your strategy carefully, because this patient is infected to the core and other Viruses roam freely through the body. If too many Viruses accumulate in an organ, a crisis will be unleashed! Then prepare to face the powerful immune system that will try to kill you!

In Viral, 2 to 5 players will take on the role of a Virus that has infected a patient. Players must try to control the different areas of the body, with the aim of getting Viral Points. Each round, you will secretly choose an area to act in and a card with various actions, such as spreading through the body, attacking rival Viruses, unleashing organic crises, mutating, or becoming more resistant. Viral is a fast-paced game, with great interaction between players, which requires a lot of planning to become the deadliest Virus. An infection has never been so much fun!

Each game consists of 6 rounds, divided into 6 steps. In each round, players will first choose a mutation card and an area card to move their viruses around the board, attack other viruses, mutate, cause crises, etc. Then an event will take place, the immune system will be attacked and victory points will be awarded for controlling the patient's organs to try to get the most victory points. After 6 rounds, the player with the most points will be the winner.
