Paris, 1819. In secret laboratories scattered throughout the city, stacks of bloodless limbs and human organs provide a nightmare competition. A creature that should not exist wants a group of amoral scientists to breathe life into an atrocious being to keep it company. In another place, an old gray-haired ship captain wields his gun. He has come to honor, if courage accompanies him, the promise he made to a dying Victor Frankenstein.
