Enter the gloomy future of the 41st millennium.

The Empire of Man extends throughout the known galaxy, encompassing millions of worlds. Even so, it is on the verge of annihilation.

Evil Chaos forces act from within and from outside to try to corrupt mankind, while endless incursions of deadly alien races crawl their fragile borders. The embattled forces and noble orders of the Empire are bravely confronted with eternal night, under the eternal guidance of an immortal Emperor.

The distant Antian sector has experienced many terrors and conflicts, but it has even darker times ahead. A fissure of warp has opened up in its vicinity, and its terrible influence has caused infestations of Chaos and other horrendous phenomena throughout the sector.

Agents of the Empire have come to confront this threat: Space Marine, Inquisitor, Commissary, Independent Merchant and more. To succeed, these heroes will need skill and weapons, courage and faith, and even the assistance of ancient and powerful relics.

In Relic, two to four players assume the role of powerful individuals in the 40,000-Warhammer universe to venture valiantly into the Antian sector and protect it from its doom. By completing missions and defeating their enemies, the characters gain rewards and experience to improve their chances of defeating what is hidden beyond the warp fissure.
