Clank! In the space

Clank: In Space is a board game that combines deck-building mechanics with moving around a modular board, the purest essence of Clank but in space! As raiders infiltrated the spaceship of the most powerful cyborg in the galaxy, Lord Eradikus, your goal is simple: collect the largest number of artifacts and reach an escape pod in one piece.

If you already know other deckbuilding games like Dominion, or are familiar with a title in the Clank! It will be very easy for you to learn to play. Throughout the turns you will add new cards to your individual deck that will allow you to do all kinds of actions, such as moving faster inside the ship, attacking or acquiring even more cards.

To start playing, assemble the board; three modules are used in each game in the same position, but the other three can be fitted in different ways to make each game a new experience. Each player takes 10 cards, which form their initial deck, and 30 Clank cubes, which throughout the game will be added to the boss's bag every time you make too much noise during the adventure.

In Clank! In the space, factions come into play, which grant bonuses when cards of the same type are played. Another difference with the Clank! classic is that you can use teleporters or elevators inside the ship, which greatly facilitates movement. However, in order to access the location of the artifacts, it will first be necessary to hack into a data port, which infuriates Lord Eradikus.

Throughout the game you will have to keep an eye on the other looters that move around the ship, controlled by the rest of the opponents, either to prevent them from screwing up your strategy or to take advantage of their clumsiness. Whoever steals the most artifacts and makes it out alive wins the game! However, risking stealing more increases the chances of being caught or eliminated. Remember that greed breaks the sack... But there is no jackpot for which you never risk. At the end of each turn, for each intentional or involuntary noise caused by each player, cubes are added to the boss's bag. Depending on their rage level, more or less cubes will be randomly drawn and that will have negative effects for the players...
