In the near future, large corporations have invested billions in the development of cybernetically enhanced clone soldiers to explore other worlds. In order to finance these expensive programs and the latest innovations implanted in the test subjects, corporations have teamed up with the media to create and promote a competition broadcast live from the island. Thus was born RELOAD, the most watched program on the planet. The most charismatic and skilled subjects compete before avid viewers, earning fame for themselves and fortune for their creators.

Inspired by first-person shooter video games, RELOAD is a battle royale-style action picker that delivers a fast-paced shoot-and-loot experience. Players compete in teams or against each other to gain fame and win the adoration of the audience.
