THE HOBBIT - The Card Game

In The Hobbit, the card game, two teams play against each other; good versus evil. Each player tries to win every trick in the game, but once gained should distribute the cards among all players, depending on the skill of his character. Bilbo, for example, must remain a card in each trick, give a card to another player and discard the rest.

In addition to its special ability, each character has a characteristic affinity with the forces governing their motivations. Gandalf, Bilbo and Thorin are agents of good, while Smaug and Bolg are evil. The letters respond to these alignments.

The game designer is Martin Wallace, known and reputed author of other very popular games (rails, Discworld).
