Ascension Pirates of the Abyss is the first expansion in Spanish for the acclaimed deck-building game Ascension Tenth Anniversary Edition. Control the Fractured Sea as you navigate the board with your ship in search of the cards that best fit your strategy.

It is a self-playing expansion that takes the mechanics of the basic game and adds several twists, turning the game into a different and unique experience.

Abyss Pirates Ascension adds additional cards, a new oversized board, ship dials for players, and new mechanics. In your games you will have to deal with a new type of resource, the crew, which allows you to buy heroes and artifacts from the space adjacent to your ship. And, in addition, you will be looking at all costs for treasure cards (which award even more honor points!). Move your ship token around the Fractured Sea board, bring crew on board, and keep score with your custom dial while keeping an eye on the Thukal the Kraken card. Defeat it with damage or crew points and keep it to use it to your advantage. In Ascension Pirates of the Abyss you will also be able to board other ships and you will have to deal with the new target ability of the monsters, which triggers as soon as they touch the center row.
