The silent flash of steel is the last thing an unsuspecting opponent sees when facing a fencer like Ryld! Ryld is a half-elf and the child of a rare love affair between a human and an elf. He can be played as either a bard or a swordmaster.

As a bard, Ryld makes a living as a traveling s'er. He learned some magic on his travels, but he owes his prestige as an adventurer more to his nimble sword arm and golden throat, which he uses to inspire his comrades. As a swordsman, Ryld is skilled in all disciplines of fencing and trains students himself. In battle, he leads every step with tactical acumen and is always ready to help his companions.

This box set includes two hero figures for Ryld (hero and ghost form), his soul gem, and new cards , including Fool's Gold and Phoenix Claw Treasure Cards.
