Since the height of their empire during the Triassic, the serpent people have been meticulous planners and devious schemers. These snake-headed creatures appear humanoid and often shape-shift through magic to appear humanoid. However, their minds are as cold as blood. While they no longer rule vast swathes of the world, some say their empire and snares have spread further. Cunning serpent men lurk in the heart of each kingdom, hoarding power and biding their time to execute their master plan. Serpent Men and their longing for the old days, which threatens the modern world, also feature prominently in Grandpa Serpent Yig. But, at the same time, his own plans are altered when other displaced ancient beings appear in the present by accident. Will the appearance of these super beings spell the end for humanity and the races with which it is allied? This adventure makes constant references to Sandy Petersen's Cthulhu Mythos for the 5th edition, so having a copy of that book is a must to direct it.
