On top of this, this extra protection also helps the Lightbearers wield their most potent weapon, fire, as they douse their arrows in an oil that burns brightly. Said oil is sticky and burns quickly, but its intense heat can ignite any flammable material. Thus, the opponents of the light bearers end up under enemy fire both figuratively, due to being showered with arrows, and literally, due to the flames that the arrows bring with them.
