Terraforming Mars

"The transformation of the red planet has begun!"

In the year 2400, humanity begins to terraform the planet Mars. Giant corporations, sponsored by the world government of the Earth, begin huge projects to raise the temperature, the levels of oxygen and the coverage of the planet by oceans so that the environment is habitable. As terraforming progresses, more and more people will migrate from Earth to live on the red planet. Control a corporation, play project cards, increase your production, place your cities and green areas on the map and fight for milestones and rewards. Will your corporation lead the way to a new era of Humanity?

In Terraforming Mars, players develop the role of a corporation with a specific profile and work together in the terraforming process, but compete for victory points that not only give your contributions to Mars, but also improvements in human infrastructure through the solar system. At the beginning of each round (called "generations"), they will acquire unique project letters (from a deck with more than 200), through which they will be able to do very varied actions: from introducing new species of plant or animal life, to launching asteroids to the Martian surface, build cities or mine the moons of Jupiter to extract valuable resources (steel, titanium, energy ...). Standard Projects also allow players to terraform Mars independently of the projects that are acquired.

When the global parameters (temperature, oxygen and oceans) have reached the necessary level, the terraforming will be completed and the game will end at the end of that generation. After accounting for victory points, the player with the highest terraforming value will be the winning corporation!
