Fans of the original Terraforming Mars will love the return of rewards and milestones, with a new twist that only improves replay value. Also, some project cards will give you the chance to replace one of your phase cards with a new and improved version that increases the bonus you get when you choose that phase. Upgrading a phase card can revolutionize your strategy, but it can also change the way your opponents predict your game.
