This Starter Box contains everything you need to start playing Call of Cthulhu, the horror-mystery role-playing game. An RPG is a social pastime in which everyone works as a team, each playing an investigative character. One of them runs the game (the Keeper of the Arcana), consults the rules and introduces the story and plot of the adventure to the other players. Think of it like a play where everything is based on improvisation. Dice and rules determine the success and failure of your character's actions, as you are catapulted into dramatic new situations that will test your nerves. The important thing is to have fun!
