The purpose of the research carried out on Darpan is to harness the knowledge of extraterrestrial biology acquired throughout the various Paradiso Offensives to obtain innovative technologies that are beneficial to humanity. Its main objective is to obtain improvements in agricultural products through the use of species from systems outside the Human Sphere, both those brought by the alien troops of the Combined Army and those provided by the forces of the Tohaa extraterrestrial allies.
