Flexible Paints 240 ml

Flexible paints are designed to maintain adhesion and durability even when the surface they are applied to is bent or moved. Unlike standard paints that can crack or peel under flexing, these flexible paints contain special additives that enhance their flexibility. The Green Stuff World formula is latex and vinyl free to avoid allergic reactions and is ideal for use on materials such as EVA foam, latex, fabric, leather, 3D prints, and various cosplay materials.

To improve adhesion and prevent peeling, it is important to thoroughly clean and prepare the surface. Some materials may require sanding or priming to improve adhesion. Possible primers for this type of paint would be, first of all, primer Super flexible, the same flexible paint but diluted and very thin, or as an option, you could also use a thin coat of full dip liquid vinyl, or even latex.

It should always be applied in very thin coats, especially the first coat. Second and subsequent coats should be applied while the first coat is tacky, that is, the paint doesn't stain but you can feel that it's not completely dry. Incorrect or very thick applications, or simply large accumulations of paint, can impair its adhesion and create wrinkles.

For best results, the complete drying process should be respected, with a recommended curing time of at least 24 hours, especially if you have painted on a low-adhesion surface. Larger accumulations of paint could require much more time, depending on the thickness.

The satin finish of our flexible paints offers an ideal balance between matte and gloss, providing a surface with a slight sheen that subtly highlights details without exaggerating imperfections. This type of finish is especially recommended for flexible parts, as it is more resistant to dirt than a matte finish, maintains an attractive visual appearance, withstands handling very well, and facilitates cleaning, making it perfectly suited to projects that require strength, durability, and aesthetic elegance.

• Mixing with non-flexible colors can negatively affect the final flexibility and adhesion.
• Painting with non-flexible paints on top does not guarantee that subsequent coats will acquire flexibility.
• If the first coat is not thin enough or if a suitable primer is not applied, it could affect adhesion.
• Allow to dry for 24 hours before final use. If it feels tacky to the touch, it is not yet dry.
• These are not paints elastic, but flexible. They have moderate elasticity to adapt to movement without losing adhesion, but can crack or break if stretched excessively.
• A flexible varnish can be used as a final protective layer to improve durability.
