Elements

Elements is a game about the elements (Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal and Water) and the Yin/Yang symbol. With just 16 oversized cards and a few rules, your goal is to score more points than your opponent. But beware: your total score cannot exceed the limit imposed on the playing area in the center of the table, which changes during the game based on the actions of the players.

A game of Elements is played for several rounds. At the end of each round, one of the players will receive 1 or 2 victory point tokens. The first player to score 6 victory points wins the game. On their turn, each player can choose between 5 actions:

a) play a card, to increase the limit and reduce the value of your hand

b) take a card, to reduce the limit and increase the value of your hand

c) discard a 6, to reduce the value of your hand without changing the limit

d) pass, only if with your cards (in front of you and in your hand) you do not exceed the current limit. At that moment, points are counted and victory tokens are distributed.

Through the combination of these 4 actions, the values of your hand and the central limit will fluctuate. Only by passing at the right time will you get victory points.
