Witchcraft! (Spanish)

A bell rings at midnight in the streets of Wildegrens as villagers close their windows to escape the darkness. Something moves in the night, in the forest, across the fields, across the old battlefields. The isolated town is in danger. Crops are low, animals die and villagers disappear without a trace. People are scared.

Some women try to fight back, but the villagers suspect that these women may be dealing with the devil himself. Behind the old school a shadow crosses towards the town well. A faint light reveals two witches who nod to each other, extinguish the torch, and head into the dark forest.

Witchcraft! is a solo card game where you lead a group of witches in a fantasy world where magic is real, and so are the monsters that inhabit it. Based on the hidden and revealed mechanics of Resist!, in Witchcraft! You must decide when to use magic to defeat the challenges you face and when to reveal yourself to the rest of the town and be imprisoned for witchcraft. As you complete quests and defeat enemies, you'll be able to prove to the villagers that magic isn't evil and you'll have to convince the jury that you're protecting the village. Three judges will decide your fate. Can you persuade them? Or will evil defeat you and the people?

At the beginning of the game, you assemble a group of witches who belong to different families and are represented by a deck of cards. Selecting multiple witches from the same family makes that family more powerful. Each family focuses on different tasks in the game: reveal challenges, increase attack power, discover the jury's conviction, or capture family members to help you. The fight is real and each of the 8 members of the jury face a different villain. Is it the Headless Horseman, Baba Yaga, the Scarecrow or some other demon? When preparing for the game, choose 3 members of the jury, their missions and their unique challenges. In total you will have 56 unique combinations that will give you a wide variety of challenges and monsters to face. If you fail two missions or two villagers die, you lose the game. Even if you pass the missions, you will still face the trial and will only be sure of your fate when you reveal the jury's conviction and prove that you have done enough to persuade them.
