ANGEL AND ARCHANGEL

Warren Worthington III was born into a wealthy and privileged family, but was forced to lead a secret life when white wings began to sprout from his shoulders. Because of this, he went on to become one of the founding members of the X-Men and, since then, he has fought against a multitude of villains using his mutant gifts.

Betrayed by someone he trusted, the hero Angel was left without wings and badly injured. Willing to cling to any hope of a cure, Warren ended up submitting to the manipulations of the supervillain known as Apocalypse, who brainwashed him, enhanced his body using technology and genetic alterations, and gave him a new pair of razor-sharp metallic wings and a more sinister personality. Now known as Archangel, the once kind Angel serves Apocalypse as one of his Horsemen.
