Ultraviolet Resin 17ml

GSW offers a completely new alternative for artists and modelers looking to create water effects with this Ultraviolet Resin.

An easy-to-use gel with crystal-clear transparency, this product is perfect for replicating the sea, rivers, lakes, ponds, and puddles in a single step, straight from the bottle to the diorama or miniature base. It has several advantages over other more traditional ways of creating water effects:

• Ultra-fast drying gel. This product can be combined with a UV flashlight to dry in 2-4 minutes. On a sunny day, the gel has a drying time of 5-10 minutes. On a cloudy day, 20-40 minutes.
• Can be tinted. The UV Resin can be mixed with any of our colorants to Resins that allow you to tint the gel with just a few drops, making it possible to create different types of water, such as still or swampy water! IMPORTANT: If you want to tint with our candy inks, you must apply them once the resin is completely cured for proper application.
• It doesn't shrink. UV resin does not shrink like other materials used for water effects.
• Multi-layered. If you want to create the effect of something being submerged in water, you can place several layers on top of each other without leaving a mark between layers.
• It can be easily cut, polished, and worked. The resin is easy to manipulate; it can be molded and carved.
• It gives off almost no odor, unlike other traditional methods for water effects.

* When in liquid form, a heat gun or kitchen lighter can be used to heat the resin and force out any trapped air bubbles.
* Please note that it will remain liquid indefinitely until it comes into contact with a source of natural or ultraviolet light.
* Do not expose the inside of the bottle to natural light, otherwise the gel may begin to react and crystallize inside.

UV Resin Warnings

- Environmental conditions can affect the properties of the material.
- It is recommended to use it in a dry, ventilated place at a temperature between 18ºC and 25ºC.
Extreme cold and heat can damage the material.
- Use under unsuitable conditions, insufficient UV light exposure, or a lack of UV light power, These factors can cause the surface, once hardened, to become sticky or tacky to the touch. We recommend prolonging its exposure to UV light or applying a gloss varnish. We recommend using the product within 10 months of the purchase date. The product's shelf life may decrease after opening depending on storage conditions, exposure to ultraviolet light, and low temperatures.
