Unlike MDF, this material does not warp when wet, maintaining its shape and transparency over time. This stability makes it an excellent material for both artistic projects and technical applications. Its water resistance and non-porous surface also facilitate cleaning and maintenance, something especially valued in display pieces and long-lasting projects. Acrylic can be cut primarily with a laser or CNC milling machine, although some manual tools such as a handsaw or Dremel-type cutter can also be used.

Available in different sizes and shapes, these acrylic sheets are suitable for projects of any scale: from From small handcrafted creations to large-scale scenery and architectural models, these adhesives are especially useful for designing transparent miniature bases, where the base doesn't distract the viewer and the surrounding environment is perfectly integrated. Their transparency even allows for playing with lighting using LEDs placed underneath or behind the pieces, achieving unique effects in futuristic dioramas, science fiction models, or fantasy settings. We recommend using adhesives specifically designed for transparent plastics, such as plastic glue or cold silicone designed for acrylics. These slightly melt the surface of the material, creating almost invisible bonds, which are very useful in display cases, windows, or transparent structures. In projects where mechanical strength is a priority, it can also be combined with two-component epoxy. Unlike MDF, whose surface is porous and absorbs white glue, methacrylate is non-porous, so it requires this type of adhesive to guarantee a firm, durable, and professional bond. 2x
