They can be connected to any power source between 3V and 18V (3V dim light, 12V bright light).
Optimal power consumption/illumination: 9-12V.

TIPS:
- Use a lighter to strip the wires when necessary. Do not expose the LED to flame for too long, or you could burn it out.
- Use brass rods or tubes to conduct electricity through your dioramas.
