INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:

1. Using a craft knife or sharp blade, carefully cut the decal as close as possible to the edge of the image. A new blade will help ensure clean cuts and prevent any tearing or damage.

2. Using tweezers, carefully place the decal in a container of warm water. Leave it to soak for about 20 seconds or until the decal begins to peel away from the backing paper. If you have trouble peeling it off, try using slightly warmer water.

3. Once it's ready, carefully slide it from the backing paper onto the surface of your model. You can use a brush for this. Use a soft cloth or cotton swab to help position the decal and smooth out any wrinkles or bubbles. Be gentle and take your time to avoid damaging the decal.

4. Once it's sufficiently soaked, carefully slide it onto the surface of your model using tweezers or a soft brush. To prevent silvering and protect the paint underneath, apply a small amount of GSW Decal Softener to the surface where you'll be placing it. If the decal is difficult to move, add a little more Softener or water to help it float on the surface until it's in the correct position.

5. If the surface where you want to apply it is curved, such as a shoulder pad, it may wrinkle. To prevent this, apply GSW Decal Softener to the decal once it's in place. Let the Softener work, and it will conform to the curved surface, helping to eliminate wrinkles. Repeat this step 2-3 times until the Wrinkles will disappear. Use a cotton swab or paper towel to remove any excess liquid remaining between the decal and the surface, being careful not to lift the decal from the surface. When using GSW Decal Softener, it is not necessary to make embossed cuts to remove wrinkles from the decal. 6. Finally, apply another coat of GSW Decal Fixative to the decal and the surrounding surface to unify the surface. If desired, you can then apply a coat of matte or gloss varnish to add or remove shine. With these steps, you can apply model decals with ease and achieve a professional-looking finish.
