Arabic Textured Roller

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Mix the sculpting clay/putty thoroughly until ready to use according to the manufacturer's recommendations.

2. Roll out the clay/putty onto the surface to be textured. For best results, even out and smooth the surface evenly before applying the rollers. It is recommended to use a smooth roller.

3rd Depending on the type of material, it might be helpful to dampen the roller or use modeling petroleum jelly to prevent sticking.

4th Roll carefully, applying the same pressure to all areas to obtain a consistent texture.

5th Trim off any excess clay/putty. It is recommended to do this once the material has dried.

MATERIALS:

There are many putties and clays on the market, and all of them can be textured with the appropriate technique.

Generally, polymer clays (like Super Sculpey) are quite easy to work with using these rollers and allow you to correct mistakes because they don't dry until they are baked. If the goal is to create textured bases, we recommend using MDF wood bases, as it is possible to texture the clay directly onto the base and then place everything in a baking oven. The oven, including the base. The baking time will be 15 minutes at a temperature of 150ºC. The MDF wood will leave a toasted bread smell, but it will not burn.

In the case of epoxy putties, there are more differences and other techniques to achieve similar results. The added advantage is that it is not baked and can be applied directly to plastic materials.

In the case of two-component green stuff, which is especially sticky, it will be necessary to wet the rollers with a little water. You can also reduce the stickiness of this putty by applying talcum powder or, for the best results, a little modeling petroleum jelly.

Other epoxy putties such as Milliput are also suitable, but we recommend not wetting them too much as this makes them difficult to work with. On the other hand, if the mixture is too sticky, it is best to continue kneading until its stickiness is reduced.

With this type of putty, it is essential to properly clean the rollers after use. Use.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE:

After using the rollers, if any material remains on the design, clean with the Scratch brushes and water.
