The textured roller is designed to create precise textures in putties, clays, and modeling pastes. Made of transparent PMMA plastic, it offers a non-stick, durable, and safe surface for artistic use.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:

1. Prepare the putty or clay by kneading it until you achieve the desired texture according to the manufacturer's instructions.
2. Spread the material onto the surface you wish to texture, ensuring it is even and smooth. For better results, first use a smooth rolling pin.
3. If the material is sticky, lightly dampen the rolling pin or apply a thin layer of modeling petroleum jelly to prevent sticking.
4. Roll the roller with consistent pressure to create an even texture.
5. After drying or hardening, carefully trim off any excess putty or clay.

MATERIAL COMPATIBILITY:

This roller is suitable for working with a wide variety of putties and clays.

Polymer clays such as Super Sculpey do not harden until baked, allowing for adjustments beforehand. If working with MDF wood bases, you can bake the piece along with the base at 150°C for 15 minutes without damaging the wood, although It may give off a slight odor.

With epoxy putties, the technique changes. Green putty tends to stick, so it is recommended to dampen the roller or apply petroleum jelly for modeling. It is also possible to use talcum powder to facilitate handling.

Milliput putty is compatible, but avoid over-wetting it. If the mixture is very sticky, continue kneading until the texture improves.

*** It is essential to clean the rollers after each use to preserve their condition and functionality.

CLEANING AND CARE:

Clean the roller with water after use. For more stubborn residue, use the Scratch brushes for a deep clean.
