Nómadas - Tomcats Special Rescue Team

Team Tomcats is a unit of heroes. Its members remain on active duty twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. Originally from Corregidor, the Tomcats are the reaction and intervention unit in extreme situations of the Nomadic Military Force. For Corregidor, whose workforce works in deep space conditions, the existence of an emergency and rescue team is vital.
In space, the most hostile work environment possible, accidents are always fatal. In such situations, to save lives and prevent further deaths, speed and accuracy are critical. There is no margin of error possible. The Tomcats must be versatile operatives, with varied specialties, that allow them to be successful in their mission. The level of demand of its functions and the Nomadic organizational structure itself have forced this to be a militarized unit. The Nomadic Military Force takes advantage of its exceptional qualities in combat operations, as a rapid response and support unit, for situations that require special capabilities. Its function is to serve in extraordinary rescues, immediate reaction missions and in extremis release of hostages. In short, they save lives. When the alarm goes off, they know they have to go from zero to critical in a matter of seconds. They must always be at full capacity. Your mission is very important and there is no room for the slightest hesitation. Whether they are on a ship or deployed, when they have to respond to a situation, lives are always at risk. Adherents of the aphorism “Sweat saves blood”, the Tomcats' continuous and intensive training program is crucial to ensure the success of their operations. Excellence is not a goal, it is the starting point. The pressure of the service is brutal, but the recognition and appreciation of Corregidor society more than makes up for it: all Nomad children want to be a Tomcat when they grow up.
