Trenches Mat 120x120cm

Green Stuff World's 4x4" neoprene mats are designed to provide a versatile, realistic, and immersive playing surface for skirmish wargames, shooting combat, and miniature games with a dark, modern, or futuristic aesthetic. This trench design was originally intended to recreate brutal and devastated battlefields, with dug-out defensive lines, churned earth, craters, muddy areas, remnants of combat, and an oppressive atmosphere of constant war.

This 120x120cm wargaming mat offers a clean and flexible battlefield, adaptable to multiple mission types, scenery deployments, and custom scenarios. It can be used to represent alternate World War I trenches, apocalyptic war fronts, destroyed military zones, ruined industrial worlds, science fiction battlefields, or defensive positions on devastated planets. The format allows for the free placement of barricades, ruins, bunkers, barbed wire, sandbags, destroyed machinery, buildings, containers, or any other terrain element, creating a completely customized gaming table. What truly sets this battle mat apart is its high level of detail in high resolution. The design is rendered in a top-down perspective to create a strong sense of depth and realism: trenches appear to sink into the ground, craters show recent artillery impacts, scorched earth blends with muddy areas, and scattered debris contributes to an atmosphere of constant conflict. Elements such as rubble, blast marks, trench corridors, weathered areas, and irregular textures are naturally integrated into the surface, enhancing immersion without interfering with gameplay. The 120 × 120 cm size, practically equivalent to the 4×4' format, makes it compatible with, or easily adaptable to, numerous popular miniatures games and wargames, especially Those focused on skirmishes, tactical combat, and ranged engagements, including:

• Trench Crusade® (standard size)
• Infinity® (standard ITS tournament size: 120 × 120 cm)
• Star Wars™: Legion® (standard skirmishes and missions on 3×3' and 4×4' boards)
• Bolt Action® (platoon-level games and casual scenarios on 4×4')
• Warhammer 40,000® (suitable for Combat Patrol games or Kill Team® missions with expanded scenery)
• Marvel: Crisis Protocol® (custom scenarios expanded beyond the usual 3×3')
• And any other system of wargames or miniatures that use 4x4' or 122x122cm boards.

Made from 2mm thick neoprene with a soft fabric surface and a non-slip rubber backing, the mat unfolds instantly, stays in place during play, and cushions both scenery and miniatures.

Each mat includes a zippered mat carrying bag for safe storage and transport. Simply roll it up with the printed side facing out, pack it in its bag, and it's ready to use—no creases, no cracks, no hassle. Whether for tournaments, leagues, or casual games with friends, this wargame mat keeps the battlefield in pristine condition, protects your miniatures, and saves setup time—so you can focus on that decisive assault on turn three.
