Mat - Furnace

Furnace game mat.
In Furnace you will assume the role of 19th century businessmen. Your goal will be to build an industrial empire and earn as much money as you can by buying companies, extracting resources and processing them in the most profitable way possible.
The game takes place over 4 rounds, each divided into 2 phases: Auction and Production. In the Auction phase, you will bid to buy Companies. The highest bid receives the Company, while the rest of the bids get a Compensation (which can sometimes be even more lucrative). During the Production phase you will have to manage your Companies to obtain, process or sell resources and, finally, improve your companies to maximize profits. You will have to optimize the production chain and find the most effective way to earn money, since the richest player... wins the game!
