The Crimson Sewer provides a starter chronicle, designed to help novice or experienced Storytellers run an introductory game of Vampire: The Masquerade. This chronicle introduces crucial concepts such as food, the Sects (Anarchs, Camarilla, and the Church of Caine), and the Masquerade itself to the game, while also giving player characters the opportunity to carve out a niche for themselves among the Kindred.

The 21 stories contained in this book can be played independently or in succession to create the multiple arcs of a chronicle.
