Cultos Innombrables (Spanish)

Dark gods from the stars once walked the Earth, ruled the skies and oceans, and yet, in our time, it is said that almost all of them are asleep or have been expelled. Only indecipherable vestiges remain, seething with ancient energies. Discover a power you never thought possible, connect with forces that will transform you inside and out, that will make you better. Although in the end, you may not be able to recognize yourself in the mirror.

Nameless Cults is a horror role-playing game that takes shape from the other side of the coin of the stories told by H. P. Lovecraft. Your character will belong to a group of people who have come into contact with magical energies and have learned to wield them to a certain extent. However, magic can never be completely controlled, and, in fact, prolonged contact with these energies will cause your body to change. At first, it will be unnoticed, but soon you will begin to display clearly inhuman traits, and thus an inexorable path toward another state of being will begin. Is Nameless Cults about playing the adversary of the classic protagonist of Lovecraft's stories? It is that and much more.

We go beyond the cliché of the cultist with a robe and sacrificial knife. The cults we will talk about are groups of people with very varied motivations who, in most cases, create their own interpretation of the magical forces they seek to control. Some may be trying to gain Nyarlathotep's favor, but there will also be cultists with much more mundane goals: your character may belong to a university fraternity that goes out at night to hunt students to feed a monster that lives in the fraternity's basement, which in return ensures success, wealth, and fame; Or perhaps the cult your character belongs to is trying to use its power for altruistic purposes, like some doctors in a hospital's Pediatrics Department who have found a magical artifact with regenerative powers and only want to help the children in the terminal ward. But can good be done by using such energies? There was a time when all cultists were normal people, in many cases even innocent, but there's no turning back from this path; it's a descent into madness that will either consume you or from which you will emerge renewed.

Nameless Cults uses the Milestones system, adding magical powers and artifacts and rules that allow you to create your own cult, as well as define the way your character descends into madness, their degeneration. It's designed both for those already familiar with the Cthulhu Mythos universe and for those facing cosmic horror for the first time, and therefore the setting, the Elder Gods, the Outer Gods, and the races that serve them are described in detail.

To help you immerse yourself in this universe as quickly as possible, the game includes a sample cult with ready-to-play characters and two complete adventures that you can play with this cult or one you've created. There are also countless cult ideas you can use to act as both the players' adversaries and allies.
