Volo of the Monsters Guide

Research has never been so dangerous.

The esteemed master of lore, Volothamp Geddarm, is back! He has written a fantastic dissertation, covering some of the most iconic monsters in the world of Dungeons & Dragons®. However, the Sage of the Valley of Shadows himself, Elminster, does not believe that Volo was entirely accurate in certain details. Watch as Volo and Elminster team up to enlighten the uninitiated with their knowledge of both common and bizarre creatures.

This book, which is sure to inspire any Dungeon Master, explores the stories and lairs of various monsters, including giants, mind lasers, orcs, and goblins. Players will find within it rules to play a wide variety of new races, such as the angelic aasimar or the feline tabaxi. Plus, profiles are included for dozens of monsters, some new and some from the game's illustrious past, ready to appear on your D&D adventures, whether as powerful friends or fearsome foes.
