Spire

Spire is a dark fantasy RPG set in a city of wonder and dread. To resolve actions, Spire uses the Resistance system, which is based on managing actions through rolls based on the character's ability and his knowledge of the environment in which he is. The result of that action can then cause the character to build up stress in their resistances, and that can lead to consequences. Welcome to this massive city of the dark elves, which two hundred years ago was conquered in blood and fire by the high elves of the frozen lands of the north. Now, the aelfirs (high elves) rule the city cruelly, while the drow (you and your people, the dark elves) succumb under their tyranny. You are an agent of the Ministry of Our Hidden Lady, a clandestine organization that seeks to overthrow the aelfirs so that the drow may once again rule Spire. Known as a "Minister," you have sworn a blood oath to fight the aelfirs and return Spire to your people. Yours is a double life full of deception, excitement, secret missions and acts of sabotage, always with your heart on the verge of bursting. When you create your own minister, you can choose from the following classes. All of them represent important power groups within Spire and each has their own abilities and advancements. Your minister will be someone unique whose contributions during the adventure will be relevant and will change the course of history.
