Two Faces

A solo RPG of horror and duality. Includes "Long Shadows" expansion.

Something dark lurks within you and transforms you. You fight to get away from those around you, although at the same time they are your only salvation.

To play you only need a pencil, paper and a coin, and no more than an hour of play. Two Faces seems to push you into a classic story to journal, but nothing prevents you from using a tape recorder if you prefer to take your character to a present or future time.

You set up the game by tossing the coin, to determine the subgenre of the story you are going to narrate, what kind of beast lives inside you, the danger you represent and a few more topics. Then you will begin to play, through scenes, which you will also pose according to the toss of the coin and two tables that indicate what the scene is like and where it takes place. There are three aspects that will dictate your destiny: joy, desolation and darkness. When one of them reaches 3 points, you will write your epilogue.

To increase your gaming experience, Two Faces includes an expansion on the other side of the sheet: The Long Shadows, with 8 extra tables to add color to the preparation of the game and 5 more tables to deepen the development of the scenes. Take what you want!
