World of Fantasy

World of Fantasy is a lightweight and versatile game system that balances the playful and the narrative, while retaining all the flavor of classic fantasy. Grab a supplement from your bookshelf or search for a free downloadable adventure on the internet and delve into any medieval, epic, dark or heroic fantasy setting.
It uses a 2d6 system, has PbtA and old school elements. You won't find moves and the GM doesn't have to build the story based on questions to the PCs, although they will decide certain consequences based on the success of their actions. The action is not as important as the fiction, although you will be playing a classic adventure or campaign, and your characters will have attributes and abilities.
The Character Sheet is, without a doubt, the central axis of the game. Allows you to create characters without knowing the system. In a few steps, you will know who you are and what you excel at. Everything is there, clear and intuitive. Another strong point is the choice of equipment, divided between "backpack" and "handheld", what you decide to take with you will mark your load level and give you an advantage or disadvantage at certain times. You will earn XP by getting to know your teammates, during interludes, or for failing, because you learn from mistakes. You may succeed in an action without rolling, but assuming a cost. You will also find chapters on the use of magic, quite free and inspiring, or the rules of travel, settlements, loot points, animal companion...
Throughout this manual there are numerous game examples, very useful for delve into the system and as inspiration for your games. In the final chapter, we accompany the author in the creation of an adventure, based on the drawing of a dungeon.
And now... gather a group of 2 to 5 players (one will be the GM), print the sheets character, get at least 3 6-sided dice, and enjoy fantasy without big manuals. Focus on having fun and living the adventure!
