For a long time, the inbred ogres of the Kreeg clan have been a threat to all those trying to survive in the vicinity of Mount Hook.

More than any of the other ogre clans in the region, the Kreeg are some aggressive and bloodthirsty butchers. They have massacred numerous mining and logging camps. The horror stories told of the fate that awaits the poor souls they take with them are something of a local legend.

For a long time, the only thing that kept these ogres at bay was the Fort Rannick, the lonely bastion of law and civilization that defended this region. That is over, however, for the fort has fallen, lies in ruins, and is under their control.

This book is the third part of the Rise of the Runelords, An Epic adventure path fantasy campaign divided into six parts, now adapted to Pathfinder for Savage Worlds.
