Traditionally, the stone giants of the Storval Plateau have been a stabilizing element among their own, a voice of restraint and temperance against more brutal groups such as the hill giants, ogres, and ettin. Where these lesser races might go to war for the slightest reasons, the stone giants have always preached caution and patience.

Now, however, one of their own defies this tradition. Lord Mokmurian has become an unwitting pawn of the runelord Karzoug and intends to lead his people down the path of war. If he achieves his goal, all of Varisia could suffer the consequences.

This book is the fourth part of the Rise of the Runelords adventure path, an epic six-part fantasy campaign, now adapted into Pathfinder for Savage Worlds.
