Before or during assembly, the Fans can also customize the containers by adding combat damage, modifying parts, applying decals, adding extra accessories, or integrating them into larger-scale terrain projects. Once assembled, they can be painted in many different styles, from clean military colors to rusty industrial tones, hazard stripes, weathered metal, desert dust, dirt, oil slicks, or heavy battlefield damage. Their unpainted surface is also ideal for weathering techniques such as drybrushing, washes, chipping effects, pigments, rust streaks, and airbrushed gradients.
