The Transcontinental (English)

In 1871, just four years into Canada's existence, the Prime Minister commissioned a monumental project: a transcontinental railway connecting the already established eastern provinces with the newly incorporated western province. Between the two lay the vast, unexplored interior. It would be a nation-defining project, opening up the resource-rich Canadian shield, the fertile prairies, and the impressive Rocky Mountain Range, shaping not only the young country's economy but also its identity. The Transcontinental is a middling Eurogame with worker placement and pickup and drop-off mechanics about the development of the Canadian transcontinental railway.
