The masses await the start of the show... the heat is suffocating... the sweaty equines tug nervously on their harnesses. There is! The exit sign! The whistle of the whip sends your chariot forward, slowly at first but quickly picking up speed... around the spina in the center of the arena to complete the first turn... the next curve is coming up... looking back, one one of the tanks is already far behind and, just ahead, the speed of another tank is too high to take the curve... it has been smashed when it hit the wall! the crowd roars! Only one car stands between you and victory, it's time to play dirty. Your javelin is ready waiting for the charioteer to get within range... or maybe it's better to overtake him and throw caltrops in his path? Audentis fortuna iuvat...

Ancient Rome is getting ready to host some new games! You are a charioteer in a dangerous chariot race: use your dice to accelerate, brake, change lines and attack your opponents. Make sure your car doesn't end up wrecked and complete 2 laps of the arena to claim victory.

Your car dashboard will help you track the speed at which you move and the damage your car has sustained. On your turn, roll the special dice and use the results as you see fit: is it better to keep picking up speed even at the risk of ending up crashing into a wall? Or maybe a change of lines is a better option to overtake your rivals? They may not make it easy for you, in which case launch your javelins to slow them down and then throw caltrops in their path to damage their chariot!

Chariots Race – Gods of the Arena is a fast-paced racing game for 2 to 6 players, in which you can win by completing 2 laps and finishing in first position, or by destroying your rivals' cars, expelling them from the race. It includes numerous variants, among them, games for 2 and 3 players controlling several cars at the same time, an alternative board that will make the races even more dangerous, as well as the possibility of playing with personalized cars with totally different attributes.
