Mandala Stones

Get ready for a gentle session of peace and quiet… But don't get too relaxed! Or your opponents will step over you to create the most fabulous mandala and take victory from you.

Welcome to Mandala Stones, a beautiful and colorful abstract game that presents you with a simple yet challenging challenge. Place your stones in the most cunning way possible and develop your own strategy to overcome your opponents while, together, you create a common mandala-shaped tapestry.

However, and despite the fact that there will be several artists who will participate in the creation of a single work, in the end there can only be one winner. Influence the artists, place them on the board wisely and build towers with the stones you collect to get precious victory points.

How to play Mandala Stones

Mandala Stones is played in a certain number of rounds that depends on the number of players. In each round, and starting with the starting player, each participant will take a turn.

On your turn you can do one of two actions:

Pick and place an artist on the central board to, depending on the patterns shown, take a set number of stones adjacent to that artist, but not any other.

Score the stones you have collected on your personal board, either by choosing a color shared by at least two of the stones on top of each tower, or by selecting any stone on top of your towers. Depending on the specific rule of their location, they will give you a certain number of victory points.

At the end, place the scored stones on the central scoring board, which will gradually take the shape of a colorful mandala and, in addition, will give you additional points as certain spaces are unlocked. At the end of the game, the player with the most victory points wins.
