Yu Jing: Celestial Guard

The Celestial Guard are the units that guard the Celestial Emperor's Capital, fundamentally the Forbidden City, the great palatine complex that includes, in addition to the Imperial Palace (the size of a small city), recreation pavilions, large gardens and the palaces of the other members of the imperial family, nobles and senior officials of the Yu Jing Ministry of Justice.
Due to the characteristics of their military mission, they are intervention troops, specialists in urban combat. As the Forbidden City is a priority military target, the Heavenly Guard is required to meet very high levels of proficiency. In order to serve in this regiment, applicants must be veterans, with a minimum of three years' service in another unit, and a recommendation from their commanding officer. All its members are men and women of proven fidelity to the Dragon. The Heavenly Guard is the core of the Imperial Army. To participate in war actions, he receives his orders directly from the Emperor, although these must be confirmed by the Ministry of State Defense. At the same time, the Celestial Guard integrates the Yu Jing Judiciary Police Special Tactics Units. In addition to security functions, they deal with police tasks in control operations, such as surveillance, monitoring and response. They are characterized by their violent and expeditious methods.
Feared throughout the StateEmpire for their almost unlimited authority to make arrests, their effective network of informants and their cruel interrogations, they are famous for breaking into the houses of suspects and take them to the basements of their barracks, from where they may never come out again, making them disappear without leaving a trace in any file or record. Considered a dirty and treacherous troop, the Celestial Guard is publicly proud of its bad reputation, considering that it is a great help and that it greatly facilitates their work.
