PHANTOM VIOLET Acrylic Paint

Phantom Violet is part of the Maxx Formula Acrylic Color range, a premium selection of paints for hobbyists developed specifically for miniature painting and scale modeling. Carefully formulated by expert artists using state-of-the-art pigments, these acrylic paints offer an exceptionally smooth matte finish with high opacity, ideal for achieving precise and even results.

This color is considered a very good equivalent to Genestealer Purple, making it especially appealing to painters looking to match the iconic skin tones of Genestealer cults or Tyranid forces. These infamous alien hybrids, a mainstay of Genestealer lore compatible with Warhammer 40k®, are known for their haunting purple hues, a shade that Phantom Violet captures with remarkable accuracy.

The Maxx Formula line offers a full palette of essential base colors, highlights, Exclusive shades and colors available only through Green Stuff World. Whether you paint miniatures, dioramas, vehicles, or fantasy figures, these paints have been designed to meet the demanding standards of modern hobbyists. While primarily optimized for brush painting, Phantom Violet and the entire Maxx Formula range can also be airbrushed when thinned slightly with acrylic thinner. This dual functionality gives painters complete creative control, allowing them to blend, glaze, and layer with ease, perfect for tackling complex organic textures such as the chitinous skin of Tyranid warriors or the robes of cultist acolytes. The paint comes in a 17ml dropper bottle with a precision nozzle, ensuring controlled application and minimal waste. Each bottle also includes metal mixing balls, which help keep the paint evenly blended and ready to use, even after long periods of storage. The airtight cap prevents that dries, keeping the paint fresh for future projects.

Whether you're creating a Genestealer Cult army or simply looking for the equivalent of Genestealer Purple for your next sci-fi figure, Phantom Violet is a reliable, high-quality choice for any miniature painter working with Warhammer 40k® compatible models.
