Decal Fixer 17ml

GSW Decal Fixer is a decal adhesive designed to facilitate the application of decals. It can be applied directly to the surface of the model where you wish to place a decal. GSW Decal Fixer prepares the surface with special agents that soften the solvents in modern paints, making the decal adhesive stronger and more durable. In addition, the decal fixer makes the decal more flexible and provides greater adhesion, preventing the decal outline from being visible.

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Before applying the decal to your model, apply a small amount of product to the surface where you plan to place the decal. GSW Decal Fixer will prepare the area, leaving a smooth finish that will help prevent and conceal the decal outline, as well as protect the painted area from Below. If you find it difficult to move the decal on your model to get the exact position, you can add a little more GSW Decal Fixer or just water, which will help the decal float on the surface until it can be positioned correctly. 2. If the surface where you want to apply the flat decal is curved, such as a shoulder pad, wrinkles may form on the decal. To prevent this, once the decal is in place, apply GSW Decal Softener. Let the decal softener work, removing the wrinkles and adjusting the decal to the surface underneath. Repeat this step 2-3 times until the wrinkles are completely gone. Remove any excess liquid using a cotton swab. Roll the swab over the decal so it doesn't lift or shift out of position. You can also use absorbent paper to press down on the decal with a rolling motion, removing any excess liquid. When using GSW Decal Softener You will not need to make adjustment cuts in the decal to remove wrinkles.
3. Finally, apply GSW Decal Fixer again to the decal and the surface of the model we have been working on to unify the surface. Add matte or gloss varnish if you deem it necessary to remove or add a glossy finish.
