Brush Cleaning Sponge

Keep your brushes in top condition with this practical and effective brush cleaning sponge, presented in a sturdy, rustproof aluminum tin. The tin is designed not only to protect the sponge but also to prevent liquid evaporation, so the cleaning solution is always ready to use. Its compact size makes it ideal for your painting station, travel kit, or board game equipment.

The sponge is washable, reusable, and reversible, making it an eco-friendly and cost-effective tool you can rely on for countless painting sessions. Whether you're a miniature painter, professional artist, or passionate hobbyist, this tool is an essential addition to your arsenal. Use it alone or combine it with accessories such as a paint palette, brush rinser, or brush repair gel to complete your brush maintenance system.

To maintain and preserve your natural hair brushes, dampen the sponge with water and add a few drops of Brush soap. Gently run your modeling brushes across the textured surface of the sponge to remove paint residue, untangle bristles, and restore the tip's shape.

For greater precision, you can make a cross-shaped incision in the center of the sponge. This allows you to insert the brush tip directly into the sponge to refine, sharpen, and reshape the point, giving you greater control over details. Unlike other, more aggressive cleaning methods, this process is gentle and safe for natural bristles, helping to extend the life of your most delicate brushes.

The reversible design allows you to flip it over during use for a fresh surface, letting you work longer before needing to clean it. This is especially useful during long scenery-building sessions, model painting, or any workflow involving the use of powder pigments and frequent color changes.
