Clear Crackle Paint

This clear Crackle Medium is a fast-drying, water-based paint that cracks as it dries to create a cracked effect pattern in just one step. Apply the crackle medium directly from the pot to the surface. Multiple coats are not necessary, but the thickness of the application will determine the size of the crackle effect.

For excessively smooth surfaces, we recommend lightly sanding to add roughness and improve crack adhesion. A matte primer is usually sufficient for crack adhesion.

Apply directly or with a brush. Depending on the thickness of the application, you can achieve different crack sizes. Do not use a heat gun to speed up the drying process; simply allow it to dry naturally. Please note that excessively irregular or very small surfaces can affect the crack size.
