Fluorescent Pigment Set for Modeling - Issue 2

The Green Stuff World fluorescent pigment set for modeling consists of intensely colored fluorescent powder pigments designed to add luminous effects, striking details, and UV-reactive finishes to miniatures, scale models, vehicles, miniature bases, scenery, and dioramas. Their high intensity allows you to transform any surface into a visually impactful area, ideal for illuminating fantasy, science fiction, wargaming, military, and railway modeling projects, or display scenes.

These fluorescent pigments for modeling are perfect for lighting effects and representing magical effects, alien energy, toxic waste, neon lights, glowing crystals, luminous runes, dimensional portals, futuristic signage, fantasy lava, power sources, plasma effects, or decorative details on miniatures and terrain. Under UV light, the colors become much more intense and luminous, providing a spectacular finish in display cases, photographs, gaming tables, and thematic dioramas.

Fluorescent pigments can be applied directly to any surface with a dry or soft brush to create dusting effects in specific areas or ambient lighting effects. They can also be mixed with water, fixative/binding mediums to create paints, or directly with paints, varnishes, resins, gels, water effects, or texturizing pastes to create more integrated, permanent, and resistant finishes. This versatility allows them to be used on small details and figures as well as on large areas of scenery.

Thanks to their fine, easy-to-control texture and all their usage options, they allow working with a wide variety of painting techniques. On matte, rough, or previously textured surfaces, they offer excellent visual integration, helping to create striking contrasts between dark areas and fluorescent effects.

This set of fluorescent pigments is especially useful for adding drama to fantasy miniatures, science fiction armies, mutant creatures, futuristic machinery, energy weapons, alien bases, contaminated ruins, laboratories, and other areas.

radioactive materials, control panels, technological necropolises, and any modeling project where a more vibrant, experimental color effect, different from the traditional finish, is desired.

For greater durability, especially on miniatures intended for gaming or pieces that are frequently handled, it is recommended to fix the pigments with a specific fixative, acrylic medium, or a light coat of varnish. Although the pigments are non-toxic, it is recommended to avoid inhaling the dust during application and always work in a controlled manner.
