This was supposed to be your last job. At the request of shady antiquarian Randall Tillinghast, who makes you an offer you can’t refuse, you and your fellow investigators travel to the South Pacific, to the vast alien city of R’lyeh. However, the more you explore, the more terrors you uncover; the sense of dread grows, and you find yourself, along with all of Arkham, facing a colossal threat.

The time has come. Cthulhu has awakened, and Arkham will never be the same. In The Sunken City campaign expansion, 1-4 investigators explore the mysterious and deadly city of R'lyeh as it rises from the ocean depths. Venturing into the sepulchral ruin, investigators will scale the city's shaky foundations, probe the seafloor for alien artifacts, navigate twisting corridors and bewildering machinery, and uncover an ancient history that sank along with the city.

Along the way, you'll experience a unique story that changes depending on which investigator you choose—and culminates in a thrilling battle against Cthulhu himself!
