The Third Edition Revised is compatible with all previously published content and with the other expansions. All spelling, grammar and expressions have been thoroughly revised and many of the texts have been rewritten to further enliven the game experience and the narrative background. In addition, the Third Edition of this classic will have a great novelty: all the chapters of the game will be narrated by a professional narrator!

In Mice and Mystics, players take on the role of heroes who are still loyal to the king, but to escape Vanestra's clutches, they have been turned into mice! Play as a fearless field mouse who must navigate the castle, now twenty times larger than before. The castle would already be a very dangerous place with Vanestra's minions in charge alone, but unfortunately they are not the only threats that lie in wait for our heroes, who are now very, very small. Play as the cunning Prince Collin and fight your way through your enemies, or try out Nez Bellows, the burly blacksmith, a powerful warrior capable of slaying his enemies with his great hammer. Attack your enemies from a distance with the elderly wizard Maginos, or protect your companions with Tilda, the castle's until recently official healer. Each player has a vital role in the adventure to alert the king, and it will be necessary to carefully plan each step of the adventure to find Vanestra's weakness and defeat her.

Mice and Mystics is a cooperative adventure game in which players work together to save a kingdom in peril. They will face numerous adversaries such as rats, cockroaches and spiders, and of course the greatest horror of all: Brodie, the castle cat. Mice and Mystics is a bold and innovative game that immerses players in an ever-changing interactive environment, with a sophisticated story that players will help create as they play through its 12 chapters. The Cheese System allows players to collect pieces of precious cheese they find on their journey, and use them to empower their mice with impressive new abilities, to overcome seemingly insurmountable challenges against all odds. Mice and Mystics can be played by up to 6 players, although most of the adventures in the first book of the story are designed for 1-4 players. However, it is also possible and even recommended, especially in the first games, that one player be the narrator and lead the thread of the Adventure while the rest play the intrepid mice. In that case, the base number of players would be extended to 5.

Mice and Mystics is the ideal game if you want to introduce your children to this exciting world of board games, as it is recommended for ages 7 and up.
