Res Publica (Spanish)

Found Settlements and Cities, in addition to promoting your cultural and technological progress. To found a settlement, reveal 5 cards from the same Clan. This gives you 3 points and the right to draw 1 Civilization card each turn. Gather 5 identical Civilization cards to found a City. The fastest earn the most valuable Cities.
How to play Res Publica?

The game is played in rounds, with each player taking a turn, until someone draws the last Civilization card. After that, each person takes a final turn, and points are scored.

Starting with the first player, and proceeding clockwise, each player takes a turn. On your turn, you may perform the following steps in order, or pass:

- Trade with other players (optional).

- Progress with cards from your hand (optional):

Exchange 5 Clan cards for a Settlement.
Exchange 5 Civilization cards for a City.
Exchange 2 Monks for an Altar.
Exchange 2 Books for a Library.

- Replenish and end your turn (mandatory):

Draw 1 Clan card.
Draw 1 Civilization card for each Settlement.
You may draw a maximum of 3 cards, including Clan and Civilization cards.

65 Animal Clan cards. 12 cards of each animal: Cat, Dog, Raven, Fox, and Badger; plus 5 Owl cards (Monks).
65 Civilization cards: 12 each of Painting, Writing, Science, Architecture, Engineering, and 5 each of Books (Literature).
24 Scoring cards, distributed as follows: 10 Settlements, all value 3; 10 Cities, value 9, 8, 8, 7, 7, 6, 6, 5, 5, 4; 2 Altars value 7; 2 Libraries.
